At goodborning., protecting your personal data is a priority. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it and how we protect it.
1. Data collected
Account data
When you sign up: email address, name (optional), profile photo (optional). If you sign in via Google, we receive your name and email address associated with your Google account.
Usage data
Pages visited, saved races, published reviews, language preferences. This data is collected to improve your experience.
Assistant data
If you create an assistant profile: languages spoken, geographic area, skills, availability, payment information (managed by Stripe).
2. Purpose of processing
Your data is used to: — Manage your account and preferences — Enable review publication and race participation — Connect runners and crew members — Process payments via Stripe Connect — Improve the platform and fix bugs — Send transactional emails (confirmation, notifications)
3. Legal basis
The processing of your data is based on: — Your consent (account creation, review publication) — Contract performance (marketplace, payments) — Legitimate interest (service improvement, security)
4. Data sharing
Your data is never sold. It may be shared with:
- — Stripe — for payment processing
- — Supabase — for data storage (US servers)
- — Vercel — for website hosting
- — Resend — for transactional emails
5. Data retention
Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. After account deletion, your data is erased within 30 days, unless legal retention obligations apply.
Published reviews remain visible after account deletion but are anonymized.

Under GDPR, you have the following rights:

goodborning. only uses cookies necessary for the website to function: — Session cookie (authentication) — Language preference No advertising, analytics or third-party tracking cookies are used.
9. Minors
goodborning. is not intended for minors under 16 years of age. If we discover that a minor has created an account, it will be deleted.
10. Changes
This policy may be updated. In case of substantial changes, you will be notified by email or by notification on the platform.
